Summer Camp at BEC teaches students to maximize the potential of each horse he or she rides, whether it is a school horse or a show horse. The program also introduces the student to many related concepts including, breeding, imprinting, land management, first aid and nutrition. This allows students to develop an “eye” and enhances their overall ability to communicate with horses.
Each student takes 2 riding lessons daily – one in the morning and one in the afternoon and participates in non-riding horse-related activities. The program also includes swimming, jet-ski riding, tubing, canoeing and other outdoor and water-related activities. Our goal is to teach the student that an athletic lifestyle leads to a more balanced and capable rider.
