Hunt Seat - Equitation

BEC is pleased to announce the addition of Hunt Seat/Equitation instructor Jennifer Rankin. Jennifer has spent the last few years competing and coaching on the Southern Hunter Circuit and is bringing her talent north as she completes her Masters at Boston University. She plans on spending the spring show season getting to know New England’s “B” circuit.

“New England has a reputation for having a great ‘B’ circuit. While there are plenty of opportunities for the students at BEC to compete on the ‘A’ circuit, I hope to take over the role of getting students to that level. For my adult students who are mostly weekend riders and my kids who need confidence, these local weekend shows are a terrific way to put our hard work to the test. BEC has a large indoor arena so my students will have plenty of time to get to know me and the horses this winter. My involvement with BEC as a teacher will give my students the added bonus of watching me evolve as a rider and competitor training under a grand-prix showjumper. I have always felt the best teachers are the ones reaching out of their comfort zone and taking it to the next level.
